In an age of questioning everything, where are the answers? These are very confusing times for many of us. Are there any moral absolutes? Culture has changed so rapidly that it has left many of us disoriented, frustrated, and even fearful. In the book of Daniel, we see a God-fearing young teenager being forced to live in a new land, under new authority because of the sin of the Israelites. He was expected to pick up the new culture, language, and lifestyle of the Babylonian society. Yet Daniel remained faithful to God and not only survived but thrived in Babylon for the entirety of his life. We also will be studying the incredible prophetic sections of the book as we see God’s sovereignty over kingdoms and his unfolding plan for the future.
