Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Local churches like North Metro join the mission by volunteering and providing shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. The amazing journey of a simple shoebox gift results in evangelism, discipleship, and multiplication.

Volunteers Needed

North Metro Church is also the central drop-off location for the north area, and as such, we need volunteers to help load the shoeboxes we receive into cartons, then load the cartons onto a semi trailer.

We also will be volunteering at the OCC Processing Center on November 30 to help move the packages along to their destinations.

If you a able to help with either of these needs, please see the sign-up form.
