Fill a Belly, Fill a Backpack Challenge
July 1 - July 31
We are collecting school supplies and non-perishable food items for needy families in Thornton. Drop off your donation items on Sundays or during regular business hours at North Metro Church (9am to 4pm, M–Th).
School Supplies List
- New and gently used backpacks
- New crayons
- New markers
- New #2 pencils
- New glue sticks
- New highlighters
- New college- and wide-ruled loose-leaf paper
- New three-ring binders of all sizes
- New spiral notebooks
- New blue and black ink pens
- New scissors
- New rulers
- New protractors
Items collected will be distributed at Community Connections’ School Supply Giveaway event on August 12, and the non-perishable food will benefit local organizations that serve Thornton residents.
