What is Church at the Park?
It’s pretty much what it sounds like. We take over the amphitheater at Thornton’s Carpenter Park and have church! After the church service, we’ll move to the pavilions and have a BBQ lunch, play games, and just hang out.
10am
Church service—bring your sunglasses!
11am
BBQ lunch—we’re providing the burgers and hot dogs, you bring your own fixin’s and drinks.
12pm
Splash park, yard games, basketball—hang out as long as you want! Carpenter Park has several bring-your-own-equipment options, including bocce ball, horseshoe pits, shuffleboard, sand volleyball, and tennis.
