At North Metro Church, our goal is to create a culture of discipleship where disciples are being formed, making disciples, and impacting our city, our community, and the world around us with the gospel. Our discipleship classes are designed to help you take intentional next steps in your walk with Jesus through spiritual growth, connection, and mission. Explore the classes offered throughout the year and sign up for the next step God is inviting you into.
Starting Point is an hour-long event that provides you the opportunity to connect with others who are newer to North Metro in a small, fun environment. You will also get to meet some of our leaders and staff, and be able to ask whatever questions you want.

Baptism is an important next step in following Jesus. This class walks through the meaning of baptism, why it matters, and what Scripture teaches about this act of obedience. If you are considering baptism or have questions about what it represents, this class will help you take your next step with confidence.

God has uniquely gifted every believer to serve. The Serve Class is designed to help you discover your spiritual gifts, passions, and opportunities to get connected in serving within the church. If you’re ready to take the next step from attending to serving, this class will help you find your place.

Membership is about belonging to the body of Christ and living out your faith in community. This class introduces the mission, vision, and values of our church and helps you understand what it means to be an active and committed member of our church family.

How to draw close to God in prayer and the Word.
Prayer is central to our relationship with God. This class is designed to help you grow in your understanding and practice of prayer, equipping you to connect with God more intentionally and confidently. Whether you are new to prayer or looking to deepen your prayer life, this class will help you build a stronger foundation.

Evangelism is about faithfully sharing the hope of Jesus in everyday life. This class will help you grow in confidence, understand God’s heart for people, and learn practical ways to share your faith with clarity and compassion. Come be equipped to live on mission where God has placed you.

Hearing from God Through Bible Study
God’s Word is living and active, and this class is designed to help you engage Scripture with confidence and clarity. You’ll learn practical tools for reading, understanding, and applying the Bible to everyday life—whether you’re new to Bible study or looking to grow deeper.

Theology helps us know God more clearly so we can love him more deeply. This class explores core Christian beliefs and foundational doctrines, helping you grow in biblical understanding and confidence in what you believe. Whether you are new to theology or looking to strengthen your foundation, this class will help you think rightly about God.

Financial Peace University is a practical discipleship class designed to help individuals and couples steward their finances for the glory of God. Through biblical principles and proven tools, this class will equip you to create a plan, break free from financial stress, and live with greater freedom and generosity. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to reset your financial habits, FPU provides a Christ-centered approach to managing money with wisdom and purpose.

Child dedication is a meaningful moment where parents commit to raising their child to know and follow Jesus, alongside the support of the church community. This class helps parents understand the biblical foundation of child dedication and what it means to lead their family spiritually.

Marriage is a covenant designed by God to reflect his love and faithfulness. This class is designed to strengthen marriages by grounding couples in biblical truth, healthy communication, and intentional spiritual growth. Whether your marriage is strong or struggling, this class provides tools to help you grow together.

Parenting is one of the greatest joys and one of the greatest challenges God gives us. Join Dan and Natalie Cummings for a five-week, Christ-centered parenting class focused on building strong relationships within the family while connecting with other parents for encouragement and support. This class is designed for parents of all age groups and stages of parenting. Together we will explore practical biblical wisdom, intentional discipleship in the home, and how to lead our families with grace, truth, and consistency.

What does it look like to become the man God has called you to be?
Join us for a monthly Men’s Discipleship Class designed to help men grow in their knowledge of God, understand their identity in Christ, develop strong spiritual disciplines, and become equipped to lead and disciple others.
Each gathering will include biblical teaching, small-group discussion, practical application, and prayer. Whether you are just beginning to grow in your faith or have followed Jesus for years, this class will challenge and encourage you to take your next step as a disciple.
