Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
Welcome to the Women’s Ministries of North Metro Church
We seek to invite women of all ages and backgrounds to develop and grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ, to serve Him with our spiritual gifts, to minister to one another as well as to the world around us.
Please take a moment to browse this page. Each area of interest has a woman to contact if you have questions or would like to get involved. It’s our prayer that you will find the place God has for you at North Metro Church!
Mosaic Mission Statement
The mission of the Mosaic Women’s Ministry is to equip one another to understand and live out Biblical principles of womanhood in all of life.
The word MOSAIC represents the diversity of women, symbolized by a broken and fragmented humanity, which becomes a work of beauty under the creative hands of God. Please join us and discover how all the pieces fit together—while we worship God as we love, grow, serve and reach women.

Project Nights
Project nights are designed to support women who enjoy working on projects hence the large block of time devoted from 7 pm – Midnight in the NMC Cafe. Women experience a sense of accomplishment and relish the company of cherished friends. Some bring snacks to share as well. Contact Jenny Kerns at 303.451.5490.

Room assignments on Wednesday nights will vary. Additional studies may develop throughout the year. Contact Kathy Slade.

Journey Group
- LOVE GOD. LOVE EACH OTHER. ONE STORY AT A TIME. Everybody has dignity…Everyone struggles with depravity…Everybody has a story…The body of Christ is intended to be a safe place for healing wounds… JOIN THE JOURNEY… Journey groups consist of 12 sessions rooted in Biblical principles that will bring fresh perspective and growth to those who are longing for a deeper connection with God, with others and with their own hearts. Participants are given the opportunity to share their stories, some for the first time. As stories unfold, we see that each of us have been affected by living in a fallen world, ranging from disappointment, neglect and abandonment to the trauma of physical, emotional and sexual abuse. This damage impacts our relationships at home, work and in our social and spiritual communities

Community Bible Study (CBS)
CBS is an inter-denominational Bible study for ladies and children in the north metro area. The CBS mission statement is, “To make disciples of Jesus Christ in our communities through caring, in-depth Bible study available to all.” Through Teaching Director Julee Hubachek, CBS strives to reach out to women in the community who desire in-depth Bible study, and to provide an opportunity to build relationships with other women in the area. The elements of each class include: individual home study, small group discussion, a teaching time, and occasional fellowship brunches. CBS was established in 2001, and new ladies are excitedly welcomed into the class! CBS meets Thursday mornings from 9–11 a.m. at North Metro Church, 12505 Colorado Blvd., Thornton, 80241. We will be studying Hebrews in the Fall of 2012 and doing Solomon’s Wisdom (a selection of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Song of Solomon) in the Spring of 2013. $25 adult registration fee * $10 per child registration fee * * Note: You will find the registration forms on the CBS website.
CBS Childcare
Children’s ministry at CBS welcomes children from birth to home school age. Each week your child will be involved in a Bible story, craft, singing, snack, and games. The home school curriculum mirrors the adult lessons at an age-appropriate level. For registration and information, email Kimberlee Le, or visit the CBS website. We look forward to hearing from you!
